my eel wont eat

They're pretty tough creatures if it's a true eel. I had an occellated go 4 months without eating. I hand feed everything so I know he wasn't just eating where I could t see. Then one day he ate again. This isn't uncommon at all
4 months? That's a long time... Maybe it was eating scraps

Dont know because I fee whole shrimp and silverside and e was bigger so I don't see him getting te tiny scraps that came off when the puffers ate. Then like a light coming on he ate again. Then carpet surfed, gave him mouth to mouth. He lived for 4 days but was brain damaged and finally swam a lap and died

My black edge once ended up out of the tank and into the freshwater turtle tank. Our friend found him. Dunno how long he was there, but he was just fine up until we sold him months later *shrug*.

It does when he wouldnt open his mouth and I basically filled my mouth with tank water and spit it through his face into his gills.
It was pretty sad. Saddest thing was the baby stars an stripes that slept in the cave with him. I left his body in over night incase he wasn't dead and sure enough te pilfer was sleeping next to him in the am. Made me wanna cry. Weirdest friendship ever

. Puffers are kinda like dogs I guess, always looking for their friend after they have moved on.
