Good point, well taken.
 
Let's also not forget how close the playoff game vs the saints was too. As good as San Fran looked at the end, they played so many tough close games and had a ton of bounces go their way. They were a Vernon Davis breakaway from their ride ending long before they faced the new York football giants

I only see 10 or 11 wins for the niners. Most people still think they're in a terrible division, which isn't true. I still think they'll be the 4 seed

I don't buy that stuff. You field a team you win you win you loose you loose. No excuses, no but ifs, no shoulda's at the end of 4 quaters it's the points on the board that counts nothing else matters. You can speculate till the cows come home the fact is the Giants won the Super Bowl they weren't awarded the trophy, no gimme's on either side.
 
I may not know the answer for sure but doesn't mean we can't discuss the possibility.

The man scored 17 TDs and got injured 2 weeks before the Super Bowl. You'd all have to admit he'd have an impact on the game. Maybe the giants still win but he'd have been heard from

I agree he is a monster.. He probably would have had a major impact on that game but you never will know.. If he was there to play, who to say he wouldn't have gotten hurt in that game.. It sucks that he was out but Hernandez is no slouch either. Of coarse with both of them on the field they are even more dynamic..

He hasn't thrown for a 20 TD season in his career.. Granted they have a good defense.. In the playoffs if the D isn't there for a game and he has to go score for score with Drew Brees, Peyton, Eli, Brady or Rogers whether its the playoffs or the super bowl I don't think he will hang.. Especially if they get down early by say 21 and they have to start throwing and neglect the run.. He did well last season but I don't think he can keep up with the top tier guys if he needs to..
