I got him in may at 6 inches and he is a solid 8.5 to 9 now.

Thanks Houdini I think my azul is from the same batch as yours from SA. He really changed color when i added the black sand.

At any point do they start to slow down? I am trying to judge how long he will be Good in my 125 before I have to move him.

Oh yea, my wasn't as nice looking until he got to my black gravel as well.

He should be fine in a 125 for a while as long as he has a hiding spot he will be fine. Just make sure you have no smaller fish that will fit in his mouth because he will eat them.
