+1 nutritional value. Keep in mind though that live food carry a variety of parasites that can be transferred into your entire aquarium. In the wild, most fish get used to living with parasites found within their general habitat, but not so in your average home aquarium. Just like in the wild, a foreign parasite introduced into their environment can cause major dmge, same goes for your home aquarium. Me personally, I feed my fish raw frozen foods which is not guaranteed to have harmful bacteria, but the freezing process eliminates most possibly all. Safer than live food imo. For me though, it's cheaper to feed my fish frozen foods then it is to feed them handfuls of hikari jumbo sticks.
