Those balas are awesome. Can't beat a full grown fish/ actually that is the only way I buy fish----full grown. P.S. I hate to wait for grow=outs. lol

Nice score! I wonder how long does it take for balas to grow that large? I have 3 and they're such slow growers.
I grew some to nearly that size in 2 years in a 150. Mine were no so plump.

Mine are nearing 2 years old but the biggest is only 7" and not plump. They started in a 90g and now in a 280g. Maybe I got a bad bunch.
