Just to set the record straight, over the last 192 games played 2000-2011 regular season games the Giants are 107-85 the Jets are 99-93. The Giants are 8-4 vs the Jets life time. In 2011 the Giants were 9-7 and the Jets were 8-8. Since Dec 1999 the Jets have lost 4 stright regular season meetings against the Giants. As an aside the Giants and 49ers are 14-14 life time regular season 18-18 including playoffs, I thought that was an interesting stat.

oh man, onto some serious talk

how good is houston looking? i know it was brought up before the season started how awesome they were going to be this year but boy do they look solid. Wade phillips is the real deal as a defensive cordinator. i'd love to put atlanta up there too but i'm worried about their running game. Turner is great for short yardage but he hasn't been able to break 100 yards very often since 2010 and he gets 90 percent of their carries. yes they've committed to throwing but they're up and up big so often that they still get their rushes in...however, they're ineffective.

plus, i can't ignore atlanta's playoff flame outs even though they've been regular seasons monsters

I've always believed in Houston and knew this would happen. When you have 2 good rb (one amazing) and a great qb to go along with a top defense, your generally gonna be an amazing team.

I like Atlanta this year, I feel like its their time.

Oh did I mention those are the two teams i picked for my non-giants Super Bowl prediction?

YOU GUYS DONE TALKIN ABOUT THE SOON TO BE ALSO RANS YET?....GO CARDS!!!!!:)

Wow Hakeem nicks won't play tomorrow, damn these short weeks suck. It's now or never for Ramses barden, I've been on his bandwagon since this spring, and now with hixon and nicks out, he gets his first career start and will see plenty of single teams. This is a great situation for a 6-6 receiver.

I took the Cards +4.5 at home against the Eagles. So I hope you're right this is a money pool and I need the win, no time for a let down. I also need an another NFC East team loss. I also took Tampon Bay +7.5 over Dallas, but might have to rethink that IDK.

I said those guys wouldn't play this week.

It's a big opertunity on a national stage, time for the back-ups to step up and get it done. We'll se what kind of depth they have. Both the Giants and Panthers have terribile records in this situation the Giants are giving +1.5 so Vegas says this is a coin toss.

PS Atlanta usually tanks in the playoffs, I don't know why but it seems teams named after raptures have that in common........

Yeah It kind of makes me more excited to watch this game. The panthers defense is not very good at all, especially in the secondary, where they will now double and triple team victor Cruz, leaving a 6 foot corner on a 6-6 receiver. Watching barden torch Charles Tillman shows how much potential he has.

cruz is the deep threat, will he be the possession rec? or ramses? should be a high scoring game!
I'm not sold on houston boc, they havent really faced a tough offense yet.
..and in d.c...#1 scoring offense, but the what happened to the d?they said redskin defenders were pissed at the gameplan/plays called.
