I will be moving from Albany NY to west virginia in a lil less than a month and I want to know if I'm prepared.

For the fish-
-I have large heavy duty totes
-4 battery air pumps
-heat packs

For the tanks
-I built 2 frames from leftover 4x4s I had to keep the tanks safe
-bubble wrap for the glass tops and led lights

I once did a little trip like that not so big tho, what I did was get a converter, and plug in a heater. And also added a couple bubblers. Just take it easy on the drive. And they made it just perfect

Seems good i would say ditch the battery powered air stones jus go radio shack or best buy they have adapter's that allow u to plug air pumps with cords into ur car using the cigarette lighter thing.Thats how i transported my fish works perfect.

Yup, power inverters are the way to go. Batteries and batter-powered pumps are a waste of money. Just get one that can handle the watts you need if you plan on using heaters. If it's a long trip, consider bringing along some Prime to add to the water along the way to keep fish waste from making the water toxic.

Or better yet if u wanna save jus dnt feed the fish for 3-4 days before the move. Then they should be all cleared up that how u ship stingrays and other sensitive fish.
