cruz is the deep threat, will he be the possession rec? or ramses? should be a high scoring game!
I'm not sold on houston boc, they havent really faced a tough offense yet.
..and in d.c...#1 scoring offense, but the what happened to the d?they said redskin defenders were pissed at the gameplan/plays called.

Cruz is a possession receiver with big play ability. He is Eli mannings safety blanket so he'll always get the most looks in a game because Hakeem nicks is the better receiver and is usually double teamed. Barden is more of a 15-20 yards down field player because he struggles to get separation early.

Umm, if you want to know about Houston then look at their last 19 games including the playoffs. They're virtually the same team this year as last year.

All I'm saying is we're talkin stupid skins and 49ers when there's 28 other teams out there, some that deserve our attention like Houston

Agreed.

I see the Texans taking their division with little trouble at all.

Tha AFC South has been dominated by the Colts for the past decade and they, save for one year have been disapointing in post season (see below). This combined with the relativly short history of the teams (not who they used to be but who they are now) and being small markets doesn't generate the interest througout the rest of the NFL that the larger markets or some of the smaller markets with a long and storied history like Green Bay as a prime example.

I like Houston's chances this year too and should win their division, it's what they do with it that remains to be seen. The fact that they are vertually the same team as last year may or may not be as much of a benifit as we might think. From a week 3 perspective they have as good a shot as anyone.

2002: Tennessee Titans; 11–5–0, Lost AFC Championship Game

2003: Indianapolis Colts; 12–4–0, Lost AFC Championship Game

2004: Indianapolis Colts; 12–4–0, Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs

2005: Indianapolis Colts; 14–2–0, Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs

2006: Indianapolis Colts; 12–4–0, Won Super Bowl XLI

2007: Indianapolis Colts; 13–3–0, Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs

2008: Tennessee Titans; 13–3–0, Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs

2009: Indianapolis Colts; 14–2–0, Lost Super Bowl XLIV

2010: Indianapolis Colts; 10–6–0, Lost AFC Wild Card Playoffs

2011: Houston Texans; 10–6–0, Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs

they may be the same team as last year but you'd have to take in account andre johnson missed like 8 games and schluab missed half the season and the playoff. foster was also hurt a few games. having their starting QB available alone offsets mario williams lost on the defensive side of the ball. i'm excited to see where those boys do this year. it's like SF with better skill position players = )

They were on pace to be 13-3 before Shaub got hurt so it's really not that stupid if you think about it.....
