Hey everyone, just wondering if one of my two sharks is Platinum, or just a really silvery normal Pangasius. I have two, both around 4-5 inches. One is significantly lighter than the other, here are some pics.

I don't really see light ones normally. It's usually stress when it's light like that. How long have you had them now?

I've had it for about 4 months. I don't think its stressed though, it still eats and behaves normally. It is looking a tad bit darker now, but is still not as dark as the other one. I kind of like the silver in it, though, makes it look more "sharky". Haha

Can you please post more pics. Even your darker one is way lighter colored than usual IMO (could be the photography though). If I had to guess with what you posted so far, it appears that they have indeed less melanin than normal.

defininately not plats. Plats are silvery white. yur are just silver.

Yeah,I will deffinately try to get some more pics up. I did use the flash on the camera which made them both look a little lighter than they do in person. They darker one is almost pitch black right now, the other one is a medium silvery-grey.

Btw thanks for all of the replies so quickly. I kinda thought it wouldn't be platinum, I was just wondering why it was so much lighter than my other one.
