I was impressed with the pattern as well, especially since the guy said it's a PetsMart tiger oscar that he got when it was half inch long. Thanks for having a look, I'm pretty excited about growing these guys out to even larger sizes!

Pretty aggro to start with. (S)he's taken a gouge out of one side of the oscar, but I haven't seen any more contact. Just kind of stalks after it, but no more striking. Seems like their body language is similar enough that submission was accepted. I have a divider ready just in case, though!

Looked in this morning and the pbass and oscar are schooling together like they're best friends! That was quick. What a relief.
