Dont get me wrong that is really cool and great for the person that gets the killer deal on a pup. Rules must have changed since I tried to do it. As long as it is organized properly, which I know you will do fairly I think it is a great way to keep everyone interested within the stingray group and gives the people that might not be able to afford a black ray a great opertunity to get one. It is a win win.
if mods allow this to happen, i think a lot of other people will try to do the same for high tickets items which have problems selling for the asking price. Since the mods already allowed one person to do it then they couldn't deny others in the future because it would not be fair.
i think the way this one could
go through is if he donates the excess to mfk. then it would fall under the site-sponsered auction. if he just did it himself then it would fall under turkeyboys situation with his motoro sale/raffle. then alot of other people would still try it, but not be able to due to the site-sponsered rule. although there is the clause were he may have to donate the pup to mfk to be auctioned off for the benifit of mfk. that may be the only catch. if that was the catch then he wouldnt get anything, but tax write off and props. maybe he should ask oddball or neo about this to be sure.
