I'm currently trying to treat my arowana's tail problem.
currently my salt concentration is at .3%, which is 1.5 Kilograms of salt for my 150 gallon tank.
I'm planning to slowly bring it up to .6%.
anybody here has experience with this level of salt in their tank?
Can Arowana and Indo Datnoid tolerate the concentration?
at .3% , so far my aro or datnoid seem to be handling it pretty well.

I don' think it will be an issue, especially for the Datnoid buy I would leave it at .3%, keep the water clean and use some Melafix for the tail. That's what I did for my flagtail. Heres a before and after picture.

thanks :) Cute Flagtail,
I've tried melafix, anti parasites but my aro's tail doesn't seem to have improved before.
I'm currently using Furazan and combination of salt, my arowanas tail seem to have improved.
My aro's tail seem to have developed thread like stuff on the end and some pimple.
with use of salt and furazan, my Aros tail seems to have improved, but not totally healed yet, I'm worried that it mnight come back if i stop the medication now. also thinking of increasing the salt content as I'm hoping this helps with the healing.

I've seen threads where people have actually cut it's tail to be even and then it grows back faster and straight. Not sure I would be able to do that but as a last resort I would.

Thnaks, was not able to find the video, but i was also told by someone that he was able to get rid of stuff like my aro has by physically scraping the fish, But i'm a little hesitant to put my fish to sleep.
