All personal Preference. I had jag that I loved dearly but only lasted a couple of years. I now own peacock bass and an Oscar. My buddy had a dovii that was 22" just recently died due to running into the glass. He was one of the most beautiful cichlids I have ever seen in person!

I love my Zaire Blue Frontosa more than any other cichlid I've ever had.

That being said, coolest one to own is an emperor! Go big or go home!

Nothing wrong with the question...if you don't know,you don't know.I have pbass currently but I think the coolest would have to be the Emperor cichlid.
