Thank you Fishfood?, glad to finally join. haha gotta love the know it alls...there are some on every site. So far everyone has been pretty nice though and i like how populated this site is compared to the last forum i frequented.

Well I've been into fish altogether for about 10 years, big fish for about 1 year and just now really starting to get into cichlids!

I got my first tank when i was like 8 or 9 and havent looked back since lol. New world cichlids are my favorites though!

Nice! I used to live in SA now im about 45 minutes outside Fort Worth
 
Nice I like the tex/jags. I must agree there is a shortage of MFKers in TX. That just makes it that much more interesting when people come by and see our tanks. And for those of you who don't know heat, HUMIDITY is what raises the heat index. When it is 110 F in Tx it usually feels like 120 or more. I was born in AZ and can tell you the sun is more intense in Phoenix/tucsan but Tx will have your clothes soaked in sweat within 10mins.
