Seriously thinking about p. loisellie

I have a 150g and thinking about replacing my male JD and getting a loisellie. What is more colorful male or female? What is the grow rate like?

I had the "Panama" version of loisellei and the female was prettier than the male..but that could just be in the eye of the beholder too. Growth rate was pretty standard on them...not fast and not slow.

a 150 would be an awsome home for a pair of lois. and way better than any jack demp imo. weekly waterchanges and good foods they will grow fast enough.

I have a female panama loiselli right now and she is awesome. Not aggressive but likes to push the other fish around. She gets really nice orangesans some yellows. Very camera shy tho. Much nicer than a basic loiselli. I plan on getting more when I have the room

How big do females typically get? I would love to get the Panama, but they are hard to come by. I have a LFS have 3" loisellie for $10.

Depending on ur location gage at cichlid connection has 1.5 inchers right now. I was gonna buy a few but shipping is a lil much for me
