When I was a kid, they predicted a huge one was gonna sink a huge chunk of socal into the ocean. I even had some family members move outta socal completely because of the scare

Never came though. But nature is scary and unpredictable so, anything can happen

Then you will die. Chances are the walls will collapse above you. Especially upstairs. Or on a bunkbed. This is serious. I'm talking like 7.5+. Like 1906 earthquake.

Do you understand that all buildings built in the Bay Area are now required to be earthquake safe, that's why they redid the academy of science. I don't think every single wall will come crashing down on you unless you live in an old house.

This isn't new news. I've known about the chance my entire life, I think basically everyone does. It's one of those things that comes with living in the Bay Area.

And why is this stated for all of California residents, I live 40 mins away from sf and I wouldn't even feel that great of an affect...

That big earthquake we a long time ago my dad told me he had a 150gal tank and the week after that he was eating dinner and he heard a big crack and the front shattered, but idk he didnt know if it was the earthquake or not
