water quality with Almond leaves

I have oscars,flowerhorns,butticoferris and a redparrot in my tank. Is it good to use almond leaves in the tank?
And also are almond leaves good for a koi pond?

They soften the warer and make it sour. Also they help against infections.so yes,they are helpful.

They will lower your ph levels and give your tank a blackwater effect

How would the leaves stay on the bottom with current? Wouldn't they float?

where do u gt almond leavs from

My tank is sheltered by a huge almond tree. There are lot of almond trees also in vicinity.
