Mine just dropped a load of eggs as well. My severum ate well.... But they had fry in the past and one survived and is now the 3rd in my 150g.
Nice, this is my first clutch of eggs. Just got the male from a freind a few days ago. Didn't take long for them to get the duty done. I have mine in a 20 long with a few other small community fish, so not too worried about them getting eaten. dont' even think the other fish have mouths big enough to eat the eggs...lol.
Bristlenose are easy to sex. The male has the bristles on the nose. The female doesn't.
Awesome! Mine just did the deed for the first time too. Dad is protecting the fry now, they are growing quickly!
Yup, mine are growing fast too. I wish I had a really nice camera that could focus on one egg. I would film the whole thing and due some timelapse of the growth.
