Cichla kelberi sp Sao Francisco

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
LOL awesome update! They as if they are either a new species, golden azul or kel/azul hybrid. These guys still can't grow fast enough. They are going to be stunner at adult size!

This is what I was talking about. If they are different. And you have Sao Francisco and mine are hybrids then I apologize for making the assumption by just looking at the picture. I thought these were the same fish and I found myself a nice fish

In my opinion, it looks to be an orino and azul hybrid. My reasoning is because the headshape def looks orino, also the area where the gold Spangling takes place looks just like orino to me. And I think it is hybrid with azul because of the 2 bars that are coming in between the 3 main ones. I personally think there is no kelberi gene in this fish, but who knows. Very interesting fish.

Not trying to cause trouble but what if people near Sao Francisco are taking azuls and kelberisand breeding them and sending them to vendors and not telling us that and calling them Sao frans?
