Cichla kelberi sp Sao Francisco

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
in that case, we'd never know if they're lying to us, so imo there's no need to speculate. Just be happy with what you got :)

why is it ok for him to call his fish sao francisco and not mine? when they look the same? sao francisco is just a location where the origin of the fish came from, its not like its a specie. like your parents are from the Phillipines, makes you a flipino, doesn't make you a different specie. so if I was under the impression that these fish have the sao francisco lineage, then that's all there is., where does it ever say that these are wild?

As a trader, u have a responsibility when u give a trade names to a fish. Buyers will always look up to traders who we respect. If the way a trader names his imports is by looking at hobbist fish, that's just misleading. We can only count on you guys to id the fish correctly. U have no idea if these are from Sao fransico at all. That's why i think its wrong. But wc or not, i agree that u didn't mention that it was for sure. This shouldn't be the problem everyone is having with u.

I agree with you. So this is my plea: I saw this fish for the first time on this thread, Darboy's fish, and watched it for a few weeks, and everyone had their comments inserted. I even said myself that these looked like a hybrid between piquiti and kelberi. So I draw to the hypothesis, that these must be wild hybrids or something unknown. Hence on my price list, I listed them as cichla sp. "sao francisco" cichla sp. being that its not clear what it is., "sao francisco" in direct reference to the fish in this thread, it looks the same and people are calling it that, so people know what the fish may look like. Am I that far off? Again, never did I once say they were wild, not to a single person on this planet, lol

So if people still want to get in line and throw stones at me, go ahead.

because my importer got them from south america labelled sao francisco. no lying there bro. you got yours in asia as kelberi x piquiti. so just call them that.. like you said, you just go with what's invoiced right? i believe you wrote that before all of this blew up? then you admitted you changed the name when things were escalating. i do my talking, they are not that long as yours but they are always spot on. no editing of stories or reasoning. i know this is getting really hard on you.. but man, you did this to yourself.

on my origimnal price list,

cichla sp. "sao francisco" possibly hybrid between a kelberi and piquti 3" $150.00 each
cichla sp. "ventuari" river, temensis type, with a lot of red on the body 4.5" very long and giant type $120.00 each
cichla piquti "azul" good ole azul 3" $100.00 only a few

cichla sp. means its possible a hybrid, isn't that what I wrote? I wrote sao francisco because I thought we had the same fish, if not then that's ok. I'll remove that portion of it. and who is your importer? I'm afraid of him because of what?

Dude, i believe ur importer got screwed too. Ur fish does look the same as wes's. I believe yours wasn't from SA if these are not natural hybrids.

Ok. And I never said your fish were not real. So what are the fish that you have? And if they look almost like mine what does that mean? Can I share the glory of your fish too? Maybe your wild Sao Francisco are the same lineage to mine?

This is why.. If yours are Sao Franciso, then the most expensive fish that he has ever purchased due to his believe that it was one of the only five made it to the hobby, will no longer be as special as he believes

hi guys, this is one of five sao frans that made it out to the country, or to the hobby ive heard. please pray for this fish to be beautiful when it grows as this is the most expensive fish i've ever purchased..so far hehe. funny also that all five fishes are just a couple of blocks away from each other. would also like to thank our badass importer for hooking us up with these guys! on to the next rare find bro!
and also big thanks boosten and hayn for helpin' out. appreciate it!
