are sabertooth fish illegal to have?

well if its at your lfs then its a good indacation that they are. they know whats leagal and whats not. I dont think they would be flashing a fish like that if it was illegal and risk lossing there busness. if your planning on getting him I would plan on getting him soon. they sell fast and arnt to easy to find. I waited alittle over ayear to get mine (armatus)
 
i also met a guy who goes to the store regularly and he told me he picked up a giant snakehead there 5-6 years back and showed me pics to prove it lol that fish was beautiful.

Not totally true this one place I go.to here in so cal has all kinds of illegal fish they say not for sale on the tank but then he tells you he will sell them he had an alligator gar and a walking catfish he has had a lot more just people come in and buy them

its off brookhurst and westminster by the 99 cent store its right next to the new lolicup and he doesnt own anymore illegal fish lol he said he dont wanna go jail
