240g, Need help with sump plumbing

The return is built inside the overflow(used to be a SW tank) For the drainage I got pvc that threads onto the bulkhead and etc, the return is from what I believe 1.25 that needs to be threaded on, but I think 1.25 is good. Where the sump I added a 2x4 to support that open part, so I think its good now.



I have not test filled the tank, which is what is getting me most scared rigt now, but hopefully is good 2 go. do you have a picture on what ball valves look like, never seen those or didnt look but Ill check that out before I go out again.

Alright cool, I saw those today, how they are so hard to turn, thinking about getting those swing in valves seems even more safer.



So far pretty good, only couple issues but can be easily solved

yeah they came home last friday. they didnt notice the tank untill saturday evening....LOL they didnt really get mad, all they said was " why didnt you do that while we were still here" LOL If I did you would have of said no! lol. But they werent that mad at all. my grandma digs it . they just want me to take out the 40g. I was forced to move my 60g since it would not fit under my 240g.
