Dont wanna hijack but, I am on the VA advisory board. I give alot of time to vets and working with local politicians. Our congressman is a huge veteran fan and has over the past 20 years been an advocate in DC. I gave 10 years active and now that I am out I give as much back as I possibly can. Did you also know that vets working on the GI plan work program are supposed to get paid 300.00 every two weeks to work for the VA and they go to school part time also. They get paid whenever the govt gets around to paying these guys. Sometimes the paychecks are a month late. I suppose who in their right mind would throw a veteran out of their apartment when theyre missing a leg or an arm. This VA needs a real advocate to help them get their share from the govt.
