Animal skin leather

This. If I'm gonna eat it, why shouldn't I wear it as well? That's what it was put on this planet for. Food.
Besides, if I eat and wear the animal, it produces less methane to pollute the atmosphere!
Yes I have two leather jackets. Both are process in USA and made from Lamb skin. I wear mostly sneakers with are probably made from Patten leather. If you would've kept reading you would have seen I have no problem using leather as long as the skined animal is used for other purposes like food etc.

That's a good point. I just dislike the people who just use the animals for its skin.

So your ok with skinning a lamb for leather but not ok with skinning stingrays. 
I can't take people who believe in animal rights seriously. it makes no sense for someone who owns animals to believe in that animal rights bs.

You misunderstand, people are saying that they are ok with skins as long as the whole animal was not wasted, there is a BIG difference in using the whole animal and just ripping its skin off and tossing the body in the trash

Oh lord! I'm beginning to feel like a broken record. Like I stated before if the animal is being used for food its skin and so on is a big difference then just killing and animal skinning it there discarding the remains.
I'm not an animal right activities or nothing like that. But like vet cleared up for me I am an animal lover and owner and I know play a small part in all this same as you and every other pet owner around the globe. Just feel its cruel and disgusting to use animals skin in the fashion trade because while they out trying to make a Buck they over hunt and fish these animals till there is nothing left. Witch doesn't only disturb the natural order of things but destroys entire ecosystems and things we as humans need to survive. Think of it kind of like jenga. The more blocks you take out from the bottom the less the tower can support it self. The more we destroy our planet cutting down trees and using natural resources etc the less of a chance we have of survival for the next generation of human kind to come.

What you are trying to figure out is where on the sliding scale of morality do the 2 different uses fit in our culture, and this is going to be different for everyone.
The eventual use of the animal is surely less morally important than the manner of its life and death.
Can you talk to animals? How would you know if it cares to live or die.
