Finally got my first batch of eggs from my BGJD pair.

They must have laid something like ~500-700 eggs. So many eggs that I can't even count. Talk about timing as well, hurricane Sandy is almost here and has me worried about my power. Around what time can I expect to be able to tell the difference between the EB and normal baby fry? I'd like to split them as soon as possible.

u will have to wait for atleast 2.5 months till they start to colour up IMO as my did

Fry usually do not color untill the third month........

This is AMAZING. MY 2nd pair just spawned as well. Holy cow, two spawns within a day of each other.

They're all doing great. Not exactly sure when they're going to become free swimming, but it's probably soon. Didn't have any die offs so I'm happy.
