what's more aggressive than a flowerhorn

I think a jag is very agressive, it is top predator in his ecosystem so my vote would be jag because it is also very beautiful.

The fact of the matter here is that FH also has a very outgoing personallity so it is very hard to match that, a rhom can be more lethal than a FH or that a jag but if you keep a rhom since it is little you would get bored to tears they are very skittish.

Dovii, umbee, chanco, buttikoferi, black nasty, my largest mayan is also very aggressive. Some jags can be but most ive kept were laid back with the exception of my current male i get nervous putting my had in his tank to do maintenance. Like chrisplosion said alot of variables come into play when dealing with hybrids. The flowerhorns aggressiveness depends on what its mix is, and still comes down to individual personalities. I know my flowerhorn is a killer and she is a trimac cross. So my list is all fish that IME are almost always killers.

Depends. My 4 inch FH killed a pleco 2 inches longer than him in under 2 hours after introducing him to the new tank. Probably the most aggressive FH I have kept till date. I also have had FHs that could never kill a pleco even after 3 years of chasing. So its all about the individual.

ouch I have been bit by jag lots no blood yet though umbee I don't puch my luck I can see his teeth and damage will be done LOL. Been lucky so far elongated piranha takes runs at me from time to time but I always see it coming and get out of his way @_@ makes fish keeping interesting LOL

mine is just a normal run of the mill flowerhorn there are no flowerhorn breeders around my area so i was stuck with what i order dont get me wrong im very proud of this fish but its nothing special atlest sofar his colors have no changed since i got him at 2 inchs blue and green

There is a long list of fish more aggressive. But keep the flower horn with cichlids. Only put them in at same size and change around decorations when adding a new fish. That helps sometimes. Cichlids are bad ass little man.
