I disagree with all of you above. They are still finding dead bodies in the city. Many places are without electrical power, food and water. Emergency personnel and police will have to be diverted from storm related duties to supervise the race. Although the race has a $350 million economic impact to the city, the right thing to do would have been to postpone it to a future date.

too much time to watch FOX NEWS?....run the race, it would suck to lose the city's BIGGEST SOURCE OF SPORTS RELATED REVENUE ...the people without power dont care ..for the most part...it doesnt change anything for them...as far as afuture date ..many runners would have conflicts with other races ,this is not a local event but a global one ...along the lines of the indy 500
