so i was told to maybe check out canadian tire or something for large fish net... i saw they have some steel trout nets in the fishing isle's... one is 12" round or so and 16-18" deep... perfect for big ass fish lol, but the netting seem to be very coarse rather then soft like smaller actual aquarium nets you buy at a fish store... would these nets be too stiff or hurt the fish when using them ?

those fishing nets might hurt the fish.

i wondered that after feeling them, just they are alot stronger with the steel/aluminum ring and handle compared to the soft flimsy fish store ones ive seen... anyone else have thoughts ? or suggestions on what they use ?

i moved my snakheads with a wet tshirt like a net cause they broke my net thrashing

Sent from my SGH-T959P using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

Tie an XL tshirt around a stick!

well tshirt may work all though im thinking of IF i adopt a fish form something i dont not wanna use there water, learned that lesson the hard way.... i usually bring fish home scoop em out after they are adjusted to the temp and put em i the tank not mixing water

The t shirt's fibres might not be good for the fish's slime. Maybe a synthetic tshirt? under armour? lmao.
