Pick it up! Unless its a stingray I see no reason not to.

Well RTC have quite the spines on there top fin and can really hurt especially when he is a foot long lol...

None of the stores around here have the rubber netting on em, and anything onine would be likely expensive I'm looking at one that would only cost 5-15bucks

When moving my old 27" rtc I used to pick him up. It was rather interesting but it was doable. I did it since he was 4" so he got used to it after awhile. Its no different than going out catching them.

Well ya the ones I looked at in canadian tire are labelled trout nets for 9bucks 12" rough and 18" deep and all steel/aluminum frame and comfy short handle... All though the material itself feels somewhat hard, almost like a nylon rope in a way, it defintly harder material then say a reg rope or fish net maybe cuz it brand new ? I dunno... I just wouldn't want it to scratch or hurt the fish if they get moved and all, the holes are prolly the size of a loonie or so, maybe a bit smaller but around that size give or take

Here is the EXACT net I'm referring too

You should be able to get a fish safe net from any good outdoors supply store. I use one that is made for trout, it's soft and dose not hurt the fish at all.View attachment 845078
