Got Eggs but lost all after 7 hours later!!!!! What a ****ty Weekend

My Bahias had spawned this past Saturday unexpectedly when i was at work, and come Sunday morning all the eggs are gone...Will they spawn again, since i already moved all the tankmates????? Please share your experience or ideas...

If they are first time parents it is not at all abnormal for them to eat their own eggs. Give them some time it is likely they will try again :D .

first off good job on getting them to spawn. i know a couple of peeps that have tried and no luck. lol. and like everyone else said.... let them do their thing. keep a closer eye on the tank so that if you see them trying to eat the eggs again, then you can take further action. so yeah just give it time and good luck bro

grats on the spawn, they will spawn again and learn from the mistakes :)
 
i know of a local breeder here in aus that had first spawn messy as and missed dish but after that they came good, spose it depends on the fish
