New Nintendo: Wii U

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
One of the old Sega Consoles had the same concept of the controller having a screen. You could also detach the controller and play mini games on it. I'm curious about this, although sadly Nintendo doesn't make any more oddball games that I used to love (Battletanx). They best release a new Zelda game for this.

Your talking about the Dreamcast...

As for the Wii-U, most true gamers have heard about it already, but unless your really into gaming you probably wouldn't hear too much about it... Now is it worth buying... that depends i would say on if you have kids, since nintendo has always been more kid focused with its games rather than adults... so games tend to lean more on the family friendly side...

Personally i'm most likely never going to buy one myself since i don't like the look of the control how big it is, so i'm guessing it will have some weight to it, not to mention i'm not too hopeful of the games, or how many developers will go out of their way to purposely develop games specifically for the Wii-U, which means if they are just going to port games from other platforms, might as well play it on its original platform instead...

So no ones getting it for their kids? Seems decently priced for a gift for the kids

They aren't making individual controllers available at launch though. Can't play as a family right away
