nice looking tank great

I've been away from home for a while so my better half took some pics of the tank for me. Might as well do an update with them.

Lucky the wife don't mind feeding and doing the water changes while I've been gone.

SD are gone. Got rid of them before I left to help decrease the bio load.

Here's a blurry pic of the biggest A. oblongum. Pretty happy how this guy(I think) is turning out. She said this one is a hog and always begs for food whenever she walks by.

A size reference with her hand.

Also added sweet potatoe plants and pothos before I left.

Looks like my two of my led flood lights took a dump. Oh well, at least they were cheap.

The sweet potatoe is not doing as great as thought it would but at least the pothos is growing well.

Apparently the leaf litter disintegrated. There's a lot less there then when I left it.

beautiful setup. You're lucky to have a significant other that's willing to do water changes while you're gone! I was about to go TDY for 6weeks and my said she wouldn't touch my tanks! lol.. i had planned on getting a bunch of pothos before i left but fortunately tdy was cancelled.

Thank you Zach, I'm definitely a lucky guy!

I'm in the same position you're in. And thats what stops me from having more tanks. I don't think I can push my luck and have her maintain multiple setups, especially since I'm only home for half the year.

She was very hesitant at first, so I had to set it up where water changes were pretty easy to do. If I were you, I would still setup the pothos or any other plant anyway to get them establish just in case they change their mind and you deploy you.
