ok..been looking for about 2 years to find a male Peacock Gudgeon ..walked in to my favorite LFS and glanced threw the tanks..they got a new shipment of Gudgeons in and guess what was sitting up front glaring at me threw the tank!!! a monster side angry boy!!!!!!

got him and a lovely girl with him soooo excited!!!

more pics to come when they settle in to the QT tank...plan on breeding them ^_^

and yes i do!! ..its a grow out tank for my purple snails..they will all be gone in a few weeks.
 
Sweet pickup, i was thinking of getting some originally for my planted tank, but they would have eaten all my shrimp...

i should check my lfs if they have goby for sale :x would like to use my spare 60g for something rather then collecting dust.

they are pretty awesome little fish..dont get very big this male is about max around 2 inches.

Im going to set up a nice planted 10g for them..probably get a good group of malawa shrimp breeding in it before adding them,

..wonder why they are so hard to find around here..
 
Im guessing they must be a very seasonal fish, coz its the same over here in Hong Kong, only really see them mid summer months...

Good looking little fish.I see them around from time to time.What will you do with the snails in a few weeks?
