i think you should take out the feeders because they may carry bacteria and other kinds of illness and you wouldnt want your arowanas to get sick

oh. yea you can feed your arowanas pellets itll just take time youll have to starve them for 1week until they get hungry because when they get hungry theyll have to accept watever food

hey MFK i was wondering why isnt my silver arowana not eating usually when i throw pellets in he just eats them rite away but now when i throw some in he just put them in his mouth and spits them back out what should i do?

Have you fed him some other food other than pellets? They seem to favor the tastier treat when it comes to feeds, and sometimes ignore the pellets after. Just train him again to eat pellets and feed sparingly the other treats.

no i have put in live feeders /worms /arowana sticks but all they do is look at the food and turn away but i monitor them everyday

If he's been eating before and he stopped then there might be a problem with your fish or your water. Do a 50% WC and raise the heat to 28 deg C to raise his appetite.

If you just took him home 4 days ago the let him get used to the new environment, I'm sure he'll eat afterwards

In my experience Arowana's always have a better appetite once you've had a WC.
