You can tell by the stripes on the tail. This is a picture of a CT. Look at the difference in the tail

Well this dude is 100% stable in any tank just like st ct. And has both widebar on both side. I

looks like a CT to me
It has a high back and the following features
1 - no bulge out spot like the classic IT
2 - the middle tail bar is wider than the front and back bar (most CT have this distinctive feature)
3 - the second / head bar is not fully banded (very commonly seen on ST, CT and NTT)
*tail stripes cannot determine if the fish is ST, CT or IT
It has a high back and the following features

Not sure if that is a CT or not, but here is a pic of my CT. The tail stripe is the same as in IT, but its definitely a CT/ST. Both sides are the same.
