Short body RTC and SB paroon shark?

Hey everyone does anyone know the max growth on these short body species? I tried to search some info on these 2 but couldn't find much on them. If anyone out there knows more about them pls let me know. Also how rare are they?

the SB paroon sharks get about 12-16in. and the SB RTC not really sure how big he gets and the SB RTC never herd of it so I'am asumig the SB RTC is exremely rare and the SB paroon shark is still pritty rare
 
There was a video floating around of a sb rtc so they defiantly are real, just really rare. It didn't appear as if it was too large either. There was another thread about them as well I would try to dig it up and watch the video!

I've seen different pictures over time. They are out there. Don't know much other than that.

Thx. I'll try to dig it up. I've seen some videos on YouTube and I asked the op a few questions on his but he doesn't reply. Very interested in both of these SB's but if they cost an arm n leg for them then I'll look into other more common species of catfish instead.

the True SB RTC grow slow and the biggest I've seen in the internet was 13" and a few years old. I've seen a SB RTC on aqua bid for $110. doesn't seem like much compared to you asian are and your old tig. lol. from the different ones if seen some of them look really messed up. like they have a upward bent head and really messed up body shape but then I've seen some really nice looking ones that look like perfect mini rtc's only stubby.

Thx for more information on them. That price is definitely affordable. Also reason why I want the SB's over a normal one is cuz so they don't end up eating my other prized fish. I just picked up a 600 gallon (8x4x2.5) and looking into raising some nice catfish again and I know a normal RTC will grow to a very large size in it and will eventually outgrow it which I don't want. So I don't mind the SB's deformity. It's a risk I'm willing to spend on:)
