Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

Sweet! Glad to hear others are having great success, Idk about you guys but my utilities peak during the winter, so pothos are not only saving me water but also the gas that heats it!

More the better, but there's a limit to where there won't be enough nitrate to consume, if the tank is moderately stocked I'd say 1 for every 40-50 gallons!

The more you have the more nitrates will be reduced!

No aquarium salt has many therapuetic benefits to fish, I even use 6 tablespoons of api aquarium salt for my 125 gal rbp tank, my piranhas get nipped from time to time so its sort of a prevention method imo, and it helps restore minerals into the water. Mine grow just fine with salt!
