idk much about redtail cat but from what i gather here they get really big. so i imagine if you get one you'll run into some problems there... ie you'll have to majorly upgrade your tank size and it'll probably eat your aro once it can fit in the rtc's mouth.
and i'm not sure why fish from the sea would be good for the aro... i mean it wouldn't be something in their normal diet. then again i'm no expert...

if its is FL gar or spotted gar than it can go with ur aro n about rtc it depends on it's size but bro y r u not trying 2 some bichirs now they have been imported in india
