Parachromis cf. loisellei "Panama"?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Most people who have owned other parachromis will dissagree especially with RTM or freddies. One of the reasons I bought loisellie is that everything I have read and people I have have experience say that they are the least aggressive parachromis.
I have read certain accounts of people saying loisellei they've kept were very nippy and prone to chasing other fish and starting fights, which is exactly what I've seen with mine. The managuensis I've kept were all relatively placid. Certainly able to hold their own, but didn't go looking for fights like my loisellei do. Just my experience though, not necessarily the norm

I've had small groups of loiselli, and they are very aggressive with each other, but easygoing with other cichlids - compared to other in this group of guapotes.

This vary between individuals i think...

all the jag iv ever owned were never that aggressive, i mean theyd fight back if picked on but ime id say jags are definantly one of the more calmer parachromis, unless you get that odd psycho specimen

As soon as my Parachromis become mature they go nuts! RTM, Dovii, Jags, LaCieba, all of them are evil. Thats why I love them.

Thought about picking some of these up. Everything I have ever gotten from Dan has been amazing. I need another tank for some of these buggers!
