My Gar jumped!

I woke up this morning to find my gar (rocket), laying on my floor. He was mostly dried up but I know that they can breath air so I looked at him closely and he was still breathing. Very weak and very slowly but I have him in the tank now, on a rock in front of a powerhead.

they good floppers mine left a bloody messy on my floor he was still wet tho but the slime mess showed he flopped like a good 3 feet after impact on.the floor. they chill near the glass edge it shoots them right out. what are his tankmates? think anyone bullied him out. i think thats what happend to me owning two top water fish.

You're probablly right, I had gar and a spiney eel jump the same night ... we had a really bad thunderstorm.. only thing i can think of why 2 fish would do that after being in their tanks for weeks.. crazyness.. Hope he pulls threw for you, if he's swimming thats a really good sign.
