Selling all my cats? what would u say their worth?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think I can upstage Necrocanis - if you drive them to SW FL you can have a vacation and stay at my place (future Public Aquarium) for free in return (if you are well-behaved) :)

But seriously, I feel your pain of having to part with them and wish you much luck!

I'd bring you my two suncats for that deal lol.

Thank you guys. lol. Vacation in fl sounds great but our company would fall apart. lol. As far as driving them to manhatan. It would cost me around 200 to drive them. I drive a truck. 2 tankfulls of gas. lol. But thanks for the info guys. And yes it is really hard to part with them. It breaks my heart. I have had most of them since they were tiny little guys. There are 2 albino channels in there to but they are going into my outdoor pond. I just wish the rest would servive ny winters.

If you are as considerate and overall nice in person as your on-line persona, you need not to bring anything.... well, maybe Dr. Lundberg would be nice.

As far as driving them to manhatan...

Did you mean to write Montana? Our fearless leader inhabits Great Falls, MT, AFAIK. I guesstimate your locale may be near Albany or so. If yes, I'd give Eddy's Aquarium a ring.

:ROFL:I did read that as manhatan. lmao. I have a couple lfs's that are looking for homes for me as well. I will give Eddy's a call tom. Thank you.

Just a heads up, I go to eddies all the time but don't be surprised if they don't want them. They don't usually accept/sell anything much bigger than 8 inches...it's always worth asking but I just wanted to throw that out there.

Agree. They used to have a concrete pond on the first floor (not available to customers) where big fish resided but after I cleaned it out, Ed may not accept big fish anymore. I got about 20 2' fish from there. In any event, I think those were donated for free. OP's fish may be just small enough... but who knows.

@OP Also, if they direct you to Viktor from Rochester, NY (that'd be me), tell them I moved to FL.

Eddies is pretty full with big fish at the moment.. Just brought a bunch up from downstairs. Definitely worth a shot during the week to call and check available space. Also bring in a seperate water sample

Thanks for the help guys. I wouldnt have the slightest idea how to ship Adam. Im sorry. They are really big and to try to ship with as much water as they need would be a good chunk of change. And i dont trust myself to do it right and keep the fish safe. You would probably get floaters.
