Pls help me i.d this gourami

Me and my friend went to catch fish(using nets which ppl land monster fish) he caught this gourami and I cant seem to find any species in wiki that looks like this.

I agree. Also known as the blue gourami.

i see these all the time at my lfs they are rather common. You live in Malaysia im shocked you didnt pull up a monster rtc or aro lol.

Thought opaline at first glance as well.. but body shape makes me think blue too.

Blue and Opaline are same species.....

Learn something new each day. i'm use to the young ones being sold as "opalines" and the older ones as"blue" but seems they are the same fish... never knew that thought the opalines kept the spots as they aged. never kept them, only had them at work.
