This seems like a safe topic and hopefully some people out there still read and not just watch tv. Post up what you are currently reading. Currently have three going depending on the room I'm in.

1. Homer's The Iliad
2. Dante's Divine Comedy
3. Brian Greene's The Elegant Universe.

Wilderness, a debut novel by Lance Weler.

Beautifull. Immense scope. One of those books you know you will love from the onset.

I'll have to look into it when I'm done with some of the current lot, thanks.

I am an avid reader. have thousands of books ( paper and e-books )

We can swap recommendations, although I am long past ( not meant in a negative way ) the classic's stage.

Always looking for something new. Just decided while I had some downtime to reread some classics and other assorted light readings. Probably hit into some history and philosophies next.

You will love, I am sure, WAR ON TROY and RETURN FROM TROY by Lindsay Clarke, since you are on that phase.

Just finished reading the new Alex Cross book by James Patterson last night. Next book is Decision Points by George Bush.

I cut relations with James Pattersson long ago.

His ALex Cross series was very god. Then he started crapping it ( the last ones are unbearable ) and started launching new writers in the worst possible way.

A good writer turned into a money making machine in the worst sense, imho
