true parrot with (bad) mouth issue - advise required

This guy had been lip locking with both a male jag and a male synspillum. Normal territory and hierarchy dispute since they´re the 3 biggest in the tank.
2 nights ago I noticed a small wound on the upper lip. Nothing special that I attributed to the lip locking.
yesterday night when I arrived home, I saw this:

What could this be? Doesn´t look like a wound anymore; if it is that´s a really bad one

I am isolating him in a QT tank (with salt) but need to know what it is in order to treat it.

This fish is a fighter. Had a really bad case of HITH in past (as you can see in the pics) and pulled through. That was before before coming to my tank so I got him with these battle scars. Would be a pitty to loose him now.

Opinions and treatment suggestions are welcome. (Methylene blue?)

He is around 12´ and currently with (eyeballing the sizes):
-v. synspllum male 10`;
- jag male 7-8´
- freddy female 8-9´
- flagtail 8-9´
- dull eye panaque 6´

and a 2 midevils and 2 festae under 4´

I would go with an infection as well. Adding salt would prob. be the best thing to start with, esp. if you don't know what it is exactly.

Joao tells me it died. Was attacked by the others before Joao had time to separate them

Duck lips, its usually fatal. It also had Hole is the Head.

Hith was " dry".

What causes this duck lips? Is it caused by lip locking or any otehr cause?

Infected injury on the lips/mouth. I have heard dirty water can cause it too.

What i guessed. Dirty water is an impossibility in Joao's tanks.
