THIS is my first post believe it or not.... hope I dont screw up the protocol.....HAS ANYONE HEARD more on details ...ALL I know is it was a black male member of the CHIEFS who apparently killed himself in the parking lot at arrowhead stadium ,,,,after killing his girl friend in a KC niehborhood,,,,

Jovan Belcher was his name and I believe he was a back up linebacker. Sad news everywhere you look involving this situation. He killed his girlfriend around 8 am with her mother there. He then drove to arrowhead where he was in his car with people such as Romeo crennel and Scott pioli trying to talk him out of it. He thanked them and shot himself in his car right in front of them. So terrible and saddening to say the least.

Just for the record yours truly posted about this 4 hours ago on the nfl thread and identified the player and laid out the story line.

The only thing missing is he left a 3 month old baby behind

I don't wanna sound rude or inconsiderate, but I really hope they don't try and connect this incident to a concussion he suffered in like 8th grade....

Anyways, my condolences go out to his and his girlfriends family.

It was so early that people were joking that it couldn't have been any of the chief QBs because they would have missed and hit the opposing teams players.......
