Got him eating from my fingers!

I've been feeding my vulture cat in the morning before the lights come on just to make sure he's getting some extra pellets before the other fish are up.

The last day or two he's started to recognize when I am opening the tank to feed him and he'll start swimming back and forth at the surface. Today before I let the pellets go I held them in my fingers at the surface and he swam up and felt my hand with his barbels and then took some right out of my fingers!

It was awesome. End of story.

So far the vulture is great. Only had him 5 days though....lol. He and my rose queen cichlid do not get along. The cat seems to be taking the brunt of it though.

Just fed the tank again, and the cat already is coming to my hand and pretty much letting me drop the pellets right into his mouth! I'm gonna try and get a video next time.
