Apparently they've been re-classified into the same group as Hypsophrys nicaraguenis and are now called Hypsophrys nematopus... I guess one can see the resemblance in the shape, but thats about it.

These Neets don't half grow in their early life...they're about an inch long now (body length) and I didn't realise they could get such nice colors aswell... They look like they're starting to shimmer green around the cheeks and fins. They must be from a more colorful strain than I kept all those years ago.
The breeder sent me these pics of the group my Neets came from.... you can see how nicely colored they are. I never realised they could have so much Emerald Green in their faces with a bit of samon pink in their bodies.
