Haven't posted any updates in a while so I took a couple videos last night.

Finally figuring out why this girls growth rate is outpacing the other rays. She eats much more and exercises constantly haha.

Very nice!!!

Few questions for you......

Where did the ray come from? I bet she's gonna be crazy nice! (not that she isn't already)
Is that a Ken's fish bubble disk?
Is that a Tarpon in there, or what kind of fish is it?

Very pretty BD!

Thank you

Thanks DB.

The ray I purchased through Trevor early summer but was not bred by him. There is a thread he started where parent pics were posted I believe.

The diffuser is a 9" air disk used in hydroponic systems. It is heavy (around 1lb) and it sinks which is great. I use another one to run my one bioreactor and its worked out well with no clogging issues yet after 9 months of continuous operation. I couldn't find the exact same disk I previously had ordered but I just bought a couple of these for my new tank & reactor setup. They look about the same just slightly smaller diameter.

Yep, your right on. Indo Pacific tarpon I've been growing out for over a year. Grew up with my old Brevis african tiger fish I recently sold. Also my black aro, and ornate bichir currently share this tank.

Very cool
My leo' s do the same thing, nonstop

Thanks. Ive been meaning to take a video for a while. Just been really busy recently modifying/changing some things around.

Awesome vid! Mine do the same but against the return pump outlets.

been looking for some decently priced bubble disc, thanks for the link

That's cool, she's thoroughly enjoying that.
How powerful of an air pump do you use to run that thing?
