10 baby RBPS, looking for advice

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yea that's a lot man, imo 3-4 weeks max in that tank. Do you have another 20 u could split them up?

sadly i dont.
I'm getting rid of a 10 and a 5 that are planted and used for cherry shrimp to make room for a 40 i think
then after i switch them into the 40 ill replace their old 20 with something much larger to finish out in. 125 im hoping

Is it a 40b(3'x18")?

For 10 rbp that may last up until month 2, 3 max. If I were you I would attempt to sell 5 of them when they get bigger and make a few bucks to invest into a bigger tank, stick around man and we can all help you!

Yea look to upgrade soon. I have 10 3"+ in a 90g and in a month I think they will start to looked cramped n will move them.
IMO get a 55g instead of 40 b
Under 7" fish rather have a longer tank n larger volume

3 have died, i have 7.
I got them at my chinese lfs in philly.
their prices are low but the quality is sometimes off par

One was killed two died from stress

Rbp are extremely hard to kill, even when young, make sure your water is ok!

If you don't test or have a kit get an api fw master test kit ASAP!

But for now do a 30-40% wc with dechlor, and match temps.
