Good idea to add monster Pleco with killer Red devil?

I have a solo 11in RD and i was thinking about adding a 12in+ Pleco in the tank with him! What do you guys say?

Could work but depends on tank size, amount of hiding places for Pleco, and temperament of red devil. I've had some that ignored Plecos and some that couldn't deal with anything so it just depends on the fish

Depends...if you end up with a monster pleco with no eyes, you know who did it.

you might be ok depending on tank size because it is a non-cichlid so a non-threat and has armour. i would make sure it has a hiding spot or two

Sounds good to me just watch it and make sure he doesn't show undo interest in the Pleco
